NTIS, the National Technical Information Service, is the federal government's central source for the sale of scientific, technical, engineering, and related business information by or for the U.S. government and complementary materials from international sources.

Radio Frequency Identification or RFID is an advanced automatic identification technology using tags and readers to capture data about objects and is coming into increasing use as a significant alternative to bar codes.

Tech Competitiveness works closely with industry to identify critical issues, conduct and disseminate leading-edge research and analysis, and serves as an advocate for innovation in policy making at all levels of government.
