Texas Roundtable on Overcoming Barriers to Nanotechnology Commercialization
Convened by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Technology Administration,
Arlington, Texas, Chamber of Commerce, and the
University of Illinois at Springfield

Washington, DC (Aug. 7): Under Secretary for Technology Robert C. Cresanti, in conjunction with the Arlington, Texas, Chamber of Commerce, and the University of Illinois-Springfield, will host a roundtable on “Overcoming Barriers to Nanotechnology Commercialization” on Thursday, August 9, at the Arlington Chamber of Commerce. U.S. Representative Joe Barton has confirmed his plans to attend and meet with the media as well.

The roundtable, following a similar one in Little Rock, AR, earlier in the week, is the third of a series of three meetings nationwide that will feature nanotechnology company executives, University of Texas engineering and research faculty, venture capitalists, State of Texas emerging technology fund managers, and other experts who will share their insights and experiences in overcoming barriers to nanotechnology commercialization.
